Self Dialysis x Gypsy Jazz Collaboration Live Streaming Live “BRIGHT JAZZ DAY”!
~Collaboration between Oasis Medical Corporation and Kenichi Aoshika, a guitarist who is energetically active through self-dialysis~.

Oasis Medical Corporation (Kita-ku, Tokyo, COO Wataru Sakurado), which provides the first self-dialysis system developed in Japan, collaborated with the gypsy swing trio GYPSY JAPAN on November 17, 2024 (Sunday) from 14:00 to 15:10, and held a live streaming live on YouTube. The live performance was broadcast live on YouTube in collaboration with GYPSY JAPAN, a gypsy swing trio.

Kenichi Aojika, a member of GYPSY JAPAN, is using self-dialysis at Oasis Medical and is working energetically on his music career.

His performance has given a ray of hope not only to the group’s fans but also to dialysis patients, as he is living a life free from the image of “dialysis is painful.
Even after the live broadcast has ended, the number of views of the archived broadcast continues to grow, and we plan to hold this event on a regular basis in the future.

When the daily dialysis volume is insufficient, it is difficult to fully exercise physical functions, and the fine and fast finger movements of the guitar become difficult.
However, Mr. Aojika’s daily self-dialysis allows him to play with stability.
At this event, we witnessed the best performance by one guitarist who is enjoying the music he loves and is active and energetic.

GYPSY JAPAN is a gypsy swing trio that celebrated its 9th anniversary this July, and has released two CD albums.
While many gypsy swing groups generally have a fixed role of “lead guitar, rhythm guitar, and bass guitar,” GYPSY JAPAN is unique in that each member takes a lead role depending on the song.
They are scheduled to perform at the Gypsy Jazz Festival in OSAKA 2025 next April.
